LAHORE (Dunya News) – Indian cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya have been trolled by American sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’ for their names that are full of syllables.

British-Indian actor Kunal Nayyar, who plays the role of an Indian astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali in the series, takes his friend Howard Wolowitz (played by Simon Helberg) to the screening of an Indian cricket match in an episode of season 11.

Rajesh Koothrappali makes fun of the cricketers while introducing Ashwin and says, “That’s Ravichandran Ashwin, he is amazing. He makes Hardik Pandya look like Bhuvneshwar Kumar.”

Howard, who is barely interested in the match and doesn’t know much about cricket, replies, "Wooah, wooah, wooah! Save syllables for the rest of us." Howard’s response is followed by a roar of laughter.

The lines uttered by Koothrappali apparently do not make any sense in cricketing terms, and were just used to create humor. Here are some of the Twitteraties’ reactions:

Let it be known that the Indian cricket team next faces Sri Lanka in three-match Test series starting from November 16 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Ravichandran Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar Kumar both are the part of Test squad but Hardik Pandya has been rested for the series.
